This course covers the processes, tools and techniques needed to equip a business analyst in performing its responsibilities within the context of a project. Project management knowledge areas are discussed to better integrate the business analyst’s role and work efforts into a project delivery environment. This course discusses a project management framework starting from initiation, planning, execution up to closure. Alignment of the project management processes with various software development life cycles like waterfall and Agile- Scrum is covered. This course uses examples from business analysis practices to allow participants to become better at planning and managing requirements definition engagements. This course is aligned to the internationally recognised standards of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and PRINCE2. Participants will learn project management terminologies and standards that will aid project communication and continuous learning efforts.
